Collection considered one of the largest in Europe. It comprises 6,500 species and over 2 million specimens. It's hard to believe that it all began 40 years ago with a cactus in a pot on the windowsill. The acquaintance with another cactus enthusiast resulted in importing the first seeds from Hamburg. Among them, the Texan varieties stand out, reaching over 7 meters in height, as well as "mother-in-law's chairs" - round cacti with a diameter of one meter, and very rarely flowering in the collection, Haageocerus versicolor and Cereus peruvianus with their blooming underlay. The collection in Rumia has been repeatedly awarded at various national and international exhibitions. Its headquarters is here, at the Gdańsk Branch of the Polish Cactus Lovers Society. An attractive place on the coast, frequently visited by numerous tours. On the outskirts of the village Krępkowice lies a Teutonic Knights' boundary stone, and nearby stands a mighty pedunculate oak known as Świętopełkowy. Its age is estimated to be around 650 years, although some historians are inclined to attribute even 1100 years to it. One thing is certain – it is the oldest oak in Kashubia. Despite its relatively small circumference, about 8 meters, it stands out with very thin growth rings due to growing on dry, barren, and sandy soil. Measuring about 20 meters, the oak looks magnificent especially in late spring and summer when its crown is entirely covered with an intense and dense layer of leaves. A marked educational and nature trail leads to this oak and to the nearby Brody Lake.

Post mills, constructed on the Kashubian lands since the late 14th century, are the oldest type of windmill in Europe. They are characterized by a structure set on a wooden “post” or frame, allowing the entire mill to pivot with the direction of the wind. In Ręboszewo, a historic windmill has been recreated on the foundations of the original structure, where only the base had remained. The reconstruction was made possible by the passion and dedicated work of Kashubian culture enthusiasts, who incorporated elements from other historical mills from Sokółki and Greater Poland. The windmill in Ręboszewo not only impresses with its appearance but also provides a glimpse into the original milling mechanisms, including the striking wheel, brake, and millstones – though no longer operational, these features can be admired up close. Entirely finished in wood, the structure maintains an authentic Kashubian character, with its lower level adapted for tourists, housing a cozy café where visitors can relax with drinks and enjoy the stunning Kashubian landscapes.

The truss bridge in Rutki, erected in 1886 as part of the Pruszcz Gdański – Kartuzy – Lębork – Łeba railway line, is a unique example of engineering in the region. The structure, approximately 100 meters in length and reaching 30 meters in height, stands out with its rare form. Its central span is distinguished by an inverted arch, giving it a distinctive appearance that sets it apart from other bridges in Poland. The bridge connects the banks of the Radunia River, and over time, its surroundings have transformed due to a dam and hydroelectric power plant built 150 meters downstream, leading to the creation of a reservoir initially 11 meters deep. At the end of World War II, German forces blew up the bridge, along with a train filled with ammunition. According to local stories, the exact location of the sunken locomotive remains uncertain to this day. A few years after the war, the bridge was rebuilt, restoring the railway connection, though it was not intensively used for many years.
