Sobótka Hill – The Gem of Kashubian Views
Sobótka Hill, rising on the northeastern edge of Ręboszewo, is one of the most picturesque viewpoints in the Kashubian region. Once possibly a prehistoric sacred site, it now offers visitors exceptional panoramic views. From the summit at an altitude of 221.3 meters above sea level, you can admire the scenic Brodno Małe and Kłodno lakes, as well as the charming Radunia River valley, which crosses the route from Kartuzy to Bytów. At the top stands a reconstructed windmill, and a paved road allows easy access on foot or by car. Along the way, there is a parking area, with a 15-minute walk leading to the summit. Sobótka is not just a viewpoint but also an ideal place for relaxation – its grassy slopes invite lounging, and a stylish café offers local baked goods. Sobótka Hill is a great starting point for excursions throughout Kashubia, including nearby towns like Chmielno, Sulęczyno, and Wieżyca. This place enchants with its scenic beauty year-round, and the accessible routes and welcoming locals ensure that every visitor feels warmly received.
