monuments

Also known as the "Ice Tower," the tower was erected in the mid-15th century. Its height is 31 meters. The cylindrical part rests on a square base, and the upper part is crowned with a crenellation on which a brick cone is placed. The elevation, made of glazed brick, is laid out in a checkerboard pattern. The tower has eight levels, adapted for observational and defensive purposes. In the basement, there are prison dungeons. In the 18th century, the dungeons began to be used for storing ice, hence the alternative name - Ice Tower. It is recognized as a cultural monument. In 2006, the tower was included in the European Brick Gothic Route.
