The parish church of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Darłowie
In the mouth of Pigs to the Baltic Sea is located Darlowo, in which the Gothic parish church of Our Lady of Czestochowa in 1394 .It is a three-nave building, oriented, with a separate presbytery. It impresses size and tower 60 meters high. The vaults of the aisles are star-shaped, in the sacristy - palm. The entrances and original Tudor portals. Below the roof over the aisles, which in 1991 was covered with sheet copper. Burned in latach1585, 1624 and 1722, was rebuilt. Until 1945, it was the famous "silver altar", consisting of 27 tiles placed in the baroque cabinet with black ebony 3 x 1.5 m. Eight tiles found in 1954 and they are in the Museum of the Middle Pomerania in Slupsk . The interior design is now almost 30 monuments, of which deserves special attention late Renaissance pulpit 1684, the authorities and the sarcophagus of the king of a united Scandinavia Eric (1382-1459), the Princess Elizabeth (1580-1653), the wife of the last Duke of the West Pomeranian Boguslaw XIV and Princess Jadwiga ( 1595-1650), the wife of Prince Ulrich, brother BogusławaXIV.
