The Municipal Public Library building in Lębork

monuments

The Municipal Public Library is located in a historic tenement house, built in 1918 by Johannes Caspar, one of the wealthiest residents of Lębork before World War II. He was also the owner of the local Spirit Factory. In the library, you can admire fascinating stained glass windows, including one with a stylized coat of arms of Lębork placed above the main entrance. It is also worth noting the preserved historic staircase with a fireplace and a wooden gallery.
