The mill by the Teutonic Castle

monuments

From the Teutonic economic buildings, the grain granary, adjacent to the castle and the mill, has preserved its unchanged shape. In the Middle Ages, the entire complex of castle buildings was divided by a canal that supplied water to the mill. In the Middle Ages, the ground floor of the mill housed a brewery, and the upper floor housed the Miller's House. During that historical period, this building was one of the largest mills in the area of Gdańsk Pomerania. Unfortunately, over the centuries, it underwent extensive reconstruction, resulting in the loss of its original appearance. Therefore, the fundamental structure of the object dates back to the 18th and 19th centuries.
