The manor house in Łebcz

monuments

The modest manor house, surrounded by a small, old park, transports us to another time. The first mentions of this settlement date back to 1282, and by 1340 it had already obtained city rights granted by the Komtur von Kniprode. In the 19th century, the manor was owned by notable figures such as Max Willers, and after 1921 by Tadeusz Owsiany, who was deported to the Stutthof concentration camp in 1940. The original manor, built in a rectangular plan in the second half of the 19th century, lost its original stylistic features due to later modernizations. It has now been restored and is privately owned.
