The Jewish cemetery in Banie

The cemetery from 1812. Most of the tombstones were made of black marble with gold lettering. Surrounded by tall trees and a wall. In 2007, the municipality decided to start working to secure the place and expose preserved gravestones. During this work managed to find two gravestones with Hebrew inscriptions. One is from 1741r. At the entrance is a plaque today.
