The Half-Timbered Church in Dobieszewo
The church is located in the center of the village, on a slope reinforced by a stone wall. It is a 17th-century church under the care of the Provincial Conservator of Monuments in Gdańsk, Słupsk Delegation. Formerly Protestant, it now serves as a Catholic church dedicated to St. Stanislaus the Bishop and Martyr. The first mentions of the church, which was destroyed by fire in 1715, date back to 1385. The current building dates from 1779 and was likely renovated in 1815. The church has a timber-framed construction. On the northwest side is a square tower with an entrance; the lower part is masonry, while the upper part is wooden. The roof and tower are covered with shingles. Inside are, among other things, a Baroque altar and richly decorated pulpit from the 18th century, a 19th-century organ prospect, and a bell from 1851. The entrance is through a brick gate with a figure of St. Stanislaus.
