Tessmar Family Mausoleum

The ruinous family tomb of the Tessmar family is a trace of the former owners of the estates in Borkowo Lęborskie. Still at the end of 1945, there were "5 brass coffins and 4 tiny coffins with the remains of the family of former owners of the palace" in this mausoleum. Shortly after the war, the cemetery was devastated. Someone broke into the mausoleum, and the bones of the deceased were scattered! It was only in 2001 that the local priest made the proper decision to gather all the remains and bury them with due respect in a common grave located outside the cemetery wall.
