Swietojanska Street whose feast is celebrated every year on June 24 is the most representative street of Gdynia. In the early days of the city was called Oksywska road. It was the first street in Gdynia off streets leading to the sea, which was paved and decorated in accordance with the then, new plan of the city. At the turn of the century completely renovated street: Pavement ankle was replaced, removed all the old trees were planted and in their place new road surfaces replaced and modernized lighting. Swietojanska Street is about 1800 meters long, and the difference in levels at the beginning and end of the street is 23 meters.
