Polish Sailors Monument celebration of national holidays place

The idea of bringing in Gdynia Polish Sailors Monument was established in 1946. They wanted to set it in the center of the Gdynia - the Kosciuszko Square. Unfortunately, in this place in 1952, unveiled statue of Polish-Soviet Brotherhood, which until 1990 was transferred to the Soviet Cemetery Redłowo. After this act revived the idea to build a monument there sailor. The album was unveiled 26.06.1991 year. It is a place of celebration of all the national holidays with the Navy.
