Palace in Mieroszyno
At the end of the 13th century, Duke Mestwin II listed Mieroszyno as a donation for Jarosław - judge from Puck, possibly in exchange for a horse, which may have been exceptional. In 1364, these lands passed into the hands of Maciej Brüne, and after signing the Treaty of Thorn, Mieroszyno became a royal village. The starost of Puck, Jan Wejher, founded a farm here in the early 17th century, suggesting that the original manor house also dates from the same period. Jan Wejher brought Dutch settlers to these lands in 1601. They possessed drainage skills and represented a high level of agricultural culture. They improved, among others, the lands in the Karwieńskie Błota. The Dutch settlers were the wealthiest group of farmers at that time, maintaining their personal freedom, religion, and beliefs. In the 19th century, the village was administered by the Hannemann family, whose roots go back to the Netherlands. The manor house, which was rebuilt at the end of the 19th century, gradually deteriorated after the war and was destroyed by fire in 2006.
