Neogothic church in Strzelno

monuments

The parish in Strzelno has its roots dating back to the 12th century, although the first records in documents date from the year 1583. In 1658, the church experienced a tragic fire. The current appearance of the church is the result of reconstruction carried out in 1835 and then in 1975, when the wooden tower rising above the nave was replaced with a solid masonry structure, also adding a porch on the ground floor. The interior of the church retains a distinctive Baroque style, enriched with elements of Rococo and Classicism.
