Lighthouse in Oksywie shone for the first time on Oct. 1, 1887 year. It was the fourth lighthouse which was within the limits of today's Polish coast. Lighthouse was built in the desert, east of the village Oksywie, on a high, steep cliff (39 meters), 60 meters from the shoreline.
