Lighthouse in Oksywie shone for the first time on Oct. 1, 1887 year. It was the fourth lighthouse which was within the limits of today's Polish coast. Lighthouse was built in the desert, east of the village Oksywie, on a high, steep cliff (39 meters), 60 meters from the shoreline. Octagonal lantern tower adjacent to the two-story building in which he lived lighthouse. The height of the tower was 10.6 m Oksywska lighthouse was deactivated in September 1933. It was destroyed at the beginning of World War II, during the war in 1939.
