Monument to the Deed of Poles in Szczecin

Monument, created according to the design of the eminent Polish sculptor Gustaw Żemła, who was an associate professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, was unveiled in 1979. Its height reaches an impressive 30 meters. It consists of a nest of granite boulders, which have been artistically stylized. From this nest, powerful metal columns shoot upwards, firmly set and profiled. At the top of these columns are huge Polish Eagles, made of bronze, soaring towards the sky.
