Monument Fr. Bernard Chrzanowski at the cemetery in Oksywie
The obligation on the cemetery Bernard Chrzanowski, the guide developed by the Baltic Coast in 1920, this remarkable place wrote: When on a sunny day will bypass the church, surrounded by the graves of priests and stand under his white, sun-warmed wall, descending down over the crosses of Polish names, over the grave full of marigolds, pansies and gieorgiń, look at Gdynia gentle bay and endless sea, it - watch for the church wall bench to rest, to meditation, instead of sadness grips us - admit to friends that I took there - strange joy. This remarkable cemetery graveyard without darkness, I know the same, sunny, on the top of Fiesole. (...) How are you, and so here Oksywie and embraces silent rapture, rapture and beauty rest, elevation of the spirit to eternity, death is no longer dangerous, the spirit feels the charm and beauty of immortality.
This outstanding ethnographer, a native of Poznan, particularly fond of the Coast, which had not only beautifully described, but has recorded on a number of photographs. In 1910 a book was published by Fri "The Kashubian bank" where you can see it done by the lovely photos, including oksywskiego cemetery.
