Maszewo Lęborskie Railway Station
monuments
The railway station in Maszewo Lęborskie is a station building constructed at the beginning of the 20th century. The Lębork - Bytów railway line was opened on August 1, 1902. Unfortunately, during World War II, the line was destroyed and dismantled.
After the war, the Lębork - Maszewo Lęborskie - Cewice section was rebuilt and reopened on December 2, 1946. The reconstruction was aimed at supporting military and local industrial needs.
Over the years, the role of the railway line began to diminish - on May 27, 1975, passenger train services were completely discontinued, and on July 14, 2004, freight traffic was also closed, thus ending the transport operations of this route.
