Manor in Salino
Salino is famous for its beautiful manor, picturesquely situated on the lakeside cliff. The manor was built around the year 1758 by the then owners of the estate in Salino, the Pomeranian Rexin family. Remnants of the walls and the moat surrounding the building indicate that it stood on the site of a former stronghold of the previous owners of Salino. The manor is a half-timbered, single-story building with a thatched roof, and it has two bay windows (bedrooms) at the corners. The pastoral appearance is enhanced by hollyhocks and monumental trees growing next to the manor. In the depth of the park, there are half-timbered farm buildings and 19th-century quadrangular structures, as well as contemporary buildings that stylistically refer to the old structures.
