Manor in Miłoszewo

monuments

The first mention of the village under the Latinized name villa Milorstovo was recorded in a Latin document from 1283 issued in Świecie and signed by the Pomeranian duke Mściwoj II. Over the centuries, the estate belonged to the Milczewski, Loytz, and Gerlach families. In the second half of the 16th century, Miłoszewo was a royal village in the Mirachów starosty, located in the Pomeranian voivodeship. The manor, which is a historic remnant of the farmstead complex, was built in the mid-19th century by Franz von Gerlach, the then-owner of the farmstead and starch factory. It is a modest, one-story building with architecture resembling a gray tenement house. The estate was divided into parcels at the beginning of the 20th century, and currently, the manor is divided into several private apartments.
