Jacub Wejher Square in Wejherowo

The market square was laid out during the establishment of the city in the years 1643-1644 by Jakub Wejher, the city's founder. The central square in Wejherowo changed its name several times over the centuries, and it eventually became known as Jakub Wejher Square. It's worth visiting Wejherowo in the winter to admire the annual Christmas nativity scene. The Christmas illumination of the historic city center gives the city a unique holiday and New Year atmosphere. The nativity scene features life-sized biblical figures with moving parts and is complemented by impressive and rich lighting effects, some of which are also dynamic.
