The manor complex, closely connected to the monastery in Żarnowiec, has a long and rich history. As early as 1220, the Pomeranian Duke Świętopełk confirmed the monastery's possessions in Oliwa, including the villages of Sarnowitz, which had been granted by his predecessors. In 1342, the Grand Master Ludolf Kȍnig once again confirmed the monastery's possessions and defined their boundaries. In 1589, the Cistercian order was dissolved, and Benedictine nuns from Chełmno were brought in to replace them. In 1834, there was another dissolution of the monastery, and the manor became private property.

From 1841 to 1878, Ludwig Zelewski owned the manor complex, initiating the construction of a classical-style manor house. From 1878 to 1906, the manor belonged to Bartels from Rugia, and during this time, the manor house was expanded in an eclectic style. The years from 1906 to 1924 saw Rudolf Stenzel carrying out renovations on the manor. From 1929 to 1939, the manor complex belonged to Mazarski.

From 1939 to 1945, the manor housed a German military administration, and after the war, the manor became part of the Agricultural Culture Center. The manor complex is located north of the monastery and consists mainly of buildings erected in the late 19th century. One exception is the impressive brewery from the late 18th century and the two-story Kseni House. In the second half of the 19th century, this building was renovated in the neo-Gothic style, but its massive, scarped ground floor walls confirm its 17th-century origin.
