Hospital for the Poor in Wejherowo
monuments
Right next to the entrance to the Collegiate Church, there is a small shelter, a half-timbered construction cottage. The founder and guardian of the shelter for the poor, built in 1644, was Anna Elżbieta, the first wife of Jakub Wejher. The building represents a unique example of small-town half-timbered architecture and is the oldest preserved structure in the region. The building is characterized by its corner arcade and gabled roof.
