The original church was built to the frame construction. As a result of fire in 1755 was partially burned (also from the archives of the church parsonage). In the years 1801 - 1802 the church was renovated, but in 1839 threatened to collapse, so in the years 1854 to 1857 the present church was built, the builder of Bytów Fiebelkorn.
In 1911, the northern sacristy was built, and was expanded in 1930-1933 the nave and the tower was built. Church. Nicholas was built in neo-Romanesque style, is oriented, brick and granite.
Inside there are three baroque wooden altar from the seventies eighteenth century. One of them is an old Gothic inscription in Polish "St. Joseph save us", which is the pride of the local Kashubian. The main altar is dedicated to Mary Queen of Polish. In addition, the church can be seen późnobarkową font (wooden) of about 1800, a sculpture of St. Nicholas (of the eighteenth century), two stained glass windows from 1918 and the authorities in 1915.
