Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Koszalin
One of the oldest temples koszalińsky.Katedra built on a small hill in the years 1300-1333.Jest is an object with dimensions: 55 m long and 25 m wide, brick, nave. The nave 18 meters wide with a separate presbytery, whose high pitched roof is covered with copper sheet. The severe interior is monumental Gothic altar - penaptyk, made by master Andrew Wencla.W arcade of the rainbow, which separates the chancel from the central nave, is the early Gothic crucifix from the turn of the thirteenth / fourteenth century, which comes from the chapel on Mount Chelmska. The characteristic feature of this interesting work is completed medallions arms, which are polychrome figures evangelists: St. Matthew, St. John, St. Mark and św.Łukasza. In this temple are the organs of the early fifteenth century. The porch of the temple is one of Poland's most beautiful works of this kind, namely, an early baptismal font carved in limestone by stonemasons Gotland in the end of the thirteenth century.
