Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Stargard
monuments
The neo-Gothic church, erected between 1889 and 1890 using red bricks, stands as a unique structure in Pomerania. It possesses distinctive features reminiscent of Eastern sacred architecture, despite its initial purpose for the Protestant community. Constructed in the shape of a Greek cross, it is characterized by two octagonal towers. The lower tower is capped with a pyramid-shaped spire, while the full western tower boasts an impressive octagonal spire measuring 33 meters in height. The church's facade is adorned with floral motifs and pinnacles, and atop the tower rests a bell dating back to 1890.
