Church of St. Leo the Great and St. Stanislaus Kostka

monuments

Rising at the western edge of the city center, the church represents the ethnic and religious diversity of Wejherowo. It was built between 1905 and 1908 in the Neo-Gothic style for the Evangelical parish. During the interwar period, it served as the main church of the Wejherowo superintendency (diocese) of the Evangelical Union Church. The building is made of red brick. The three-aisled, hall-like, and non-oriented construction of the church recalls late Gothic architecture. It is characterized by a slender silhouette, distinguished by five magnificent towers at the corners, with the tallest clock tower located in the facade. The towers and the peaks of the facade are decorated with plastered blendes, and the interior of the church is maintained in the Neo-Gothic style.
