St. Michael Church of the Archangel is the oldest monument in Gdynia. The first mention of the existence of the parish church in Oksywie from 1224. The present church dates from the sixteenth and seventeenth century, although its lower part - foundation of fieldstone rocks - remember the fourteenth century. The interior retains many authentic seventeenth century equipment. The walls of the church are embedded boards devoted to the sunken World War II ships, their crews and commanders of the Navy.
