Cedron Mill

monuments

Cedron Water Mill, dating back to the 17th century (rebuilt in 1928 after a fire in 1920), is located by the picturesque Cedron River, formerly known as the Biała. Due to the presence of the Kalwaria Wejherowska, the name of the river was changed to Cedron (referring to the Kidron in Jerusalem). Currently, the mill no longer serves its original purpose; its operation lasted until the 1980s. The tradition of placing industrial facilities near the Cedron has roots dating back to the early days of the existence of the city of Wejherowo.
